7 Days Prayer & Fasting

January 15 -21

Individuals with medical conditions should consult their doctor before fasting.

And they took their bones, and buried [them] under a tree at Jabesh, and fasted seven days.

  (1 Samuel 31:13)

WHY SHOULD I FAST?

  • Do you desire a deeper, more intimate, and more powerful relationship with the Lord?

  • Are you in need of healing or a miracle?

  • Are you in need of a fresh encounter?

  • Do you need to break away from bondages that have been holding you hostage?

  • Is there a friend or loved one that needs Salvation?

BEFORE YOUR FAST

Prepare your body for the fast by gradually cutting out unhealthy eating. Create your grocery list for the week and plan your meals. If you have a family, plan out their meals to ensure they are taken care of while you dedicate more of your time to prayer and fasting. Get your Bible, notebook, and pen ready to jot down your prayer needs and record what the Lord says during the fast.

WHEN TO BREAK YOUR FAST

During the 7-day fast, we will eat one meal each day. You can have your meal anytime EXCEPT between 7 PM and Noon.
